David Tomlinson

In the 16 years David Tomlinson has been writing Sporting dog for The Field, he has also penned numerous features for the magazine on subjects as diverse as hedgehogs, bees and truffle-hunting dogs. Having owned spaniels all his life he has an enthusiasm for working dogs, only exceeded by his passion for travelling to wild places in search of birds. He counts himself lucky enough to have watched birds in more than 80 countries on six continents, from Argentina to Australia, Kazakhstan to Kenya. His most memorable wildlife sighting? A tiger in Satpura, India.
